We’ve told you where Perth’s most affordable suburbs are located, and now we’re revealing which Perth suburbs have the highest median house price for the year to June 2015.
They’re the suburbs with the lavish million dollar price tags and perfectly manicured lawns, but just how much does it cost to enter the real estate market of Perth’s most expensive suburbs?
Unsurprisingly most of the suburbs that made the list for the year to June 2015 are part of the affluent western suburbs area, and reiwa.com data shows that these suburbs have been strong contenders for a couple of years now, with almost all of the 10* making the same list for the year to June 2013 and 2014 as well.
1. Dalkeith
Coming in first is Dalkeith, which takes out top spot honours for the year to June 2015 with a median house price of $2,450,000, a lift of 3.5 per cent, or approximately $100,000, on its year to June 2014 median house price.

2. Cottesloe
Cottesloe is Perth’s second most expensive suburb for the year to June 2015, and to purchase a house in the iconic area you’re looking at a median house price of around $1,860,000 (which is 4.2 per cent higher than the median house price recorded for the year to June 2014) and a minimum of $1,450,000 just to enter the Cottesloe real estate market in its lower quartile.

3. City Beach
Perth’s third most expensive suburb to purchase a house in is City Beach. The beach-side suburb has a median house price of $1,700,000 for the year to June 2015 – which represents a growth of 1.8 per cent in price when compared to the figure recorded for the year to June 2014.

4. Nedlands
The fourth most expensive suburb in Perth for the year to June 2015 is Nedlands, which has a median house price of $1,575,000. Its lower quartile entry price is around $1,243,750, while at the upper quartile price range of the suburb, buyers would be looking to pay around $1,835,000.

5. Swanbourne
Rounding out the top five is Swanbourne, which has a median house price of $1,425,010 for the year to June 2015, however this figure represents a notable 12.71 per cent price drop on its median house price for the year to June 2014 – the biggest annual decline in price on the list.

6. Mosman Park
Mosman Park came in at number six with a median house price for the year to June 2015 of $1,400,000. While this median house price represents a six per cent decline on the year to June 2014 figure, Mosman Park did record the highest number of sales at 137 during this period, and it also achieved the highest sale price for the year to June 2015, with one house in the area selling for an impressive $10,000,000.

7. Applecross
Perth’s seventh most expensive suburb for the year to June 2015 is Applecross, which has a median house price of $1,390,000, however this is a decline of 9.45 per cent (the second biggest annual price drop on the list) on its median house price for the year to June 2014.
